✨ Who is Behind the Curtain?
Jamie Davis, CPC, MLIS
Founder & Creative Director, Magic Hour VA
Jamie is a disabled, neurodivergent artist, former librarian, and social media creator living with scoliosis, degenerative disc disease, and neuropathy.
With lived experience navigating a world not built for all bodies and minds, she brings deep empathy and insight to the challenges many creatives, educators, and entrepreneurs face—especially those working outside the mainstream.
After years of trying to fit into traditional work environments—not for lack of talent or drive, but because those systems weren’t designed with access or flexibility in mind—Jamie decided to create something better.

That “something” is Magic Hour Virtual Assistance, a boutique support studio where accessibility, creativity, and care come first. Jamie offers personalized admin, content, and systems support that honors the pace, needs, and vision of unconventional entrepreneurs. Here, support is human, strategic, and aligned with each client’s unique way of working.
As a certified life coach, Jamie is just as committed to sustainability and growth for both her clients and herself. Magic Hour is more than a service—it's a quiet rebellion against hustle culture, built on the belief that success should be inclusive, easeful, and deeply personal.
If you're looking for support from someone who truly gets it—someone who knows what it’s like to work differently and sees your weirdness as an asset—you’ve found your people.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Jamie has lived all over the U.S. and currently resides in Eastern Tennessee. She spent five years in a Tiny House Community near Asheville, NC, and is active in the chronic illness and pain community on TikTok. In addition to running Magic Hour VA, she’s also an erotic audio voice artist and dabbles in painting, writing, singing, acting, and creating silly lip-sync videos with the chronic illness community on TikTok.
Since her spinal condition worsened, travel has become less frequent—but that’s only deepened her focus on entrepreneurship and community-building within the disability world. She's passionate about disability rights, chronic pain advocacy, and creating inclusive spaces where people don’t have to mask or shrink to be successful. She shares her life with two beloved senior dogs.
